Sign up below to set up an appointment for a free two-week beginners program. This Free Intro program called OnRamp goes over all the basic movements we use at Midcoast Crossfit. There is no further commitment but after your OnRamp we are sure you will want to join our regular classes.
Test Out
If you are already familiar with CrossFit methodologies and have trained in another certified location, you may be eligible for Midcoast Crossfit Test-Out option. We offer a one-hour private session with our trainers to review your fitness level and knowledge of CrossFit. If you are able to demonstrate competency in CrossFit movements, you may wish to consider this Test-Out opportunity.
On Ramp
Regardless of a person’s past athletic experience or current level of fitness, everyone who first comes to Midcoast Crossfit is provided with the opportunity to learn about basic techniques, terminology, pre-workout warm ups and exercises before participating in regular Midcoast Crossfit classes. These are our On-Ramp classes. Taught by head trainer, Zack Thomas, these classes are for first-timers only and meet three times a week, for two consecutive weeks, at no cost to you.
On-Ramp classes are kept to very small sizes to ensure one-on-one attention. As you work through the six consecutive sessions you and your fellow newcomers will learn about the correct form for basic, functional CrossFit movements, and slowly work up to increase your level of intensity. On-Ramp is the perfect place to ask questions and make some new friends before transitioning into our regular classes. Attendance and participation is mandatory, so if you are unable to make a session, contact who will work with you to reschedule. For a schedule of On-Ramp classes, check here.
