In the almost 6 years we have been open, MCCF has evolved into so much more than just a CrossFit gym. It is a place where we meet to not only go through the trenches of the daily WOD but to greet each other, ask how our day was or how or week was. It is a place where we come together to share in the joy of the news of a wedding or a baby or a promotion or a graduation. It is a place where we learn of a hard time or a sad time and we strongly come together to do everything we can to bring a piece of joy to the situation. We are a family.
There have been some amazing accomplishments in the past few months and we are proud of every single one of them. There have been adventure races, Ragnar races, road races, mountain races and a military competition just to name a few. These people work so hard in the gym and when they go out on the “playing field” they are prepared for whatever the event throws their way! This is what separates us from the norm. There is nothing that life can throw our way that we can not handle because with physical strength comes mental strength and with any kind of challenge or adversity, in comes family. Again, this is what separates us from the norm.
We are a family in every sense of the word and I am so proud to be a part of MidCoast CrossFit.
